🇬🇧 European gender policies aim to ensure equality between men and women in key areas such as employment, political representation, equal pay, and the fight against gender-based violence. The EU has adopted the Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, focusing on eliminating gender-based violence, reducing the gender gap, and promoting inclusion.

In this context, the workshop will analyze concrete gender equality goals in Europe and Italy, moving beyond proclamations and hype to understand what future lies ahead. A particular focus will be on Ferrara, evaluating the progress made and the challenges still faced in the fight against inequalities.

An additional focus will be on local organizations working daily on these issues: what obstacles do they face, and what strategies do they adopt? Finally, the workshop will reflect on the involvement of younger generations in active citizenship and raising awareness about discrimination and gender vulnerability. Special attention will be…
