About the event
——— versione italiana a seguire ———
🇬🇧 The topic of human rights and migration flows is central to the European debate, as Europe is a key destination for refugees and migrants. Managing these flows is complex and must balance security, solidarity, and the protection of human rights. The EU adopted the Migration and Asylum Pact, approved by the European Parliament on 10th April 2024, to harmonize policies among member states, but divergences remain between stricter approaches and more welcoming strategies. Meanwhile, the Erasmus+ Program for third countries promotes educational mobility and international cooperation, fostering inclusion and intercultural understanding.
In the face of this historic challenge, what approach should be taken? How can we balance the protection and safeguarding of human rights and dignity while fostering real processes of inclusion?
